Nadia is opening the salon when Sway catches up with her - what a coincidence on Valentine's day! Nadia's obviously preoccupied and when Sway starts to flirt tells him it's better they're just friends. She's wound up at having to open the salon; at losing the family land; and worst of all being rejected by the bank - she's just got the letter. Sway asks her to the Valentine's warehouse gig to cheer her up but she refuses to give a definite yes.
At the Chauhans, Jas and Jai are fighting over the post. Jas has a card and there's a card for Ba too. Rita asks Jai if it's from him - trying to suck up to their mum as usual. Jai steams it open and Rita can't help herself from looking too, but in the end it's only from Krishan - what a let down!
Zak arrives at the salon to see Nadia. He's brought her some lunch and come to see what's wrong - she looked like she was about to cry this morning. Nadia admits her loan application was rejected. It's so unfair when people like Simran have all the luck. Then to make things worse, Simran comes over and asks if she's heard from the bank. Nadia pretends she hasn't and Simran wishes her luck - may the best woman win.
Later on, Zak heads to the warehouse to help Sway on the door at his gig. Sway orders him to charge everyone - except for Nadia. When Nadia doesn't appear Sway asks Zak to ring and persuade her to come. Zak just gets the answer-machine and Sway's left alone on Valentine's night...
