Mani is looking for his phone charger but Imran suggests Mushtaq might still have it. He realises Mani is frustrated at not being able to contact anyone and suggests inviting Kuls and Sway round. Later, Jodie tries ringing again and gets the answer phone. She leaves another message.
Imran rings the boys and Kuls says they'll be there for 7pm but Sway was hoping to see Nadia tonight. Kuls reckons she probably needs a bit of time out in light of everything going on with The Akhtars and that Mani needs them more tonight but Sway doesn't sound enthusiastic.
Kuls has bought some of Mani's records round to cheer him up. Imran and Sway go to find the turntable and Kuls takes the opportunity to talk to Mani about his own dad being ill too. Mani is emotional and tells Kuls his father needs him and that Kuls is a brave man. The turntable turns up and a happier Mani starts reminiscing about the good old days.
Over at the cafe Simran is telling Jaggy how much she is looking forward to their weekend at the Country Club. She doesn't seem to notice that Jaggy isn't as excited as she is. It's going to be wonderful.
Mani is in the middle of a story when the doorbell rings. Imran answers to find Jodie standing there. She overhears a conversation about Mani's ex-girlfriends and asks who Mani is referring to. Imran says it's just 'one of his girls back in the day'. Jodie hurries off after making a puzzled Imran promise not to say she was here. Who was it asks Mani?
