It's dinner time at the Chauhans. Rita suggests Pradeep tell the kids about his day but Jai interrupts. He caught some shoplifters today and got vouchers as a reward. He gives them to the children and Rita tries again to change the subject again but no-one is listening. They are more interested in 'the hero'.
Imran tries to put a mechanical aid together for Mani but can't quite get the hang of it. He admits he can't devote as much time to looking after Mani as his dad used to, maybe they should sort things out but Mani refuses. He needs to look after himself now.
Rita is clearing away and suggests Jai help her. He asks where Arun is and is told he is at the boxing gym - after all Jai's recent let downs is it any wonder he would rather be out? Jai retorts it's not his fault Arun is missing a male role model round here!
Mani wants Imran to call in on Jodie but he doesn't have time. Mani asks for his phone and tries to ring Jodie himself but the battery's dead. He phones Zak at the restaurant to see if there is any chance he could help find it but Zak sounds busy......
Jai tries chatting to Jas but she wants to get to the leisure centre. She tells Imran about Jai turning up but he's more concerned about Jas avoiding him. She admits she was frightened by that incident with Adam and can't understand what triggered Imran off like that. What if he turns on her one day? She keeps pushing and pushing until Imran starts getting angry.....
