Imran goes to see Mushtaq and is surprised to find his dad in the utility room. Mushtaq has made it quite homely with a sofa and TV and says he prefers being in here. Imran finds this strange and asks if he is OK. Mushtaq reckons he is fine but doesn't sound it.
Roopa and Bina are watching their favourite music show. They need to get a list together for Roopa's birthday bash. Pradeep tells them to turn it down, it's far too loud.
Kamla offers to get Krishan ready for bed but he informs her he is not a baby anymore. Kamla thinks Krishan is growing up too fast but Pradeep tells her there is nothing to worry about - he is still Kamla's little boy.
Mushtaq tells Imran how empty the house feels now. Imran apologises again for turning Mushtaq away when Mani refused to see him. Why have the two of them fallen out like this anyway? Imran reassures Mushtaq that he will not take sides.
Kamla feels better after spending some time telling stories to Krishan. He asks if she feels safe and happy now she is back at home. Kamla tells him she is very happy and promises to be around for a long time to come.
Kamla makes her way downstairs to find Roopa and Pradeep arguing over a party venue. Kamla suggests the leisure centre but Roopa is horrified. She tells Bina she can't be seen by her man in that awful place prompting the response what man? Roopa says it is Kuljit and he is in love with her........
