Imran tells Mary that Mani is staying with him after a huge row with Mushtaq. He doesn't know exactly why they fell out but has never seen Mani this upset. Mary promises to pop over later to try and find out what has happened.
Jaggy finally gives in to Tina's constant messages and meets her. She promises Jaggy a big night but later, when booking their hotel room Jaggy gets cold feet. Tina uses her feminine wiles to persuade him to stay.
Rita's college friend invites her for a drink and Rita agrees to come for a quick half. Several hours later a drunken Rita gets home to find Pradeep waiting for her. He accuses her of being irresponsible and selfish. Kamla agrees with him but Rita angrily points out she is an adult. Rita feels they are ganging up on her - it's just like the old days and she doesn't like it.
Back in the hotel room, Tina has something to tell Jaggy about someone who fancied her while she was on holiday in Goa. Jaggy gets annoyed but that's just it, she didn't give him the time of day - Tina is only interested in one man and that is Jaggy Singh.
Mani tells Mary about being Jodie's father. Mary knew Jodie's mum and reacts angrily when discovering she left without telling Mani about being pregnant - she took his right to be a father away with her. A tearful Mani disagrees; he brought all this on himself and deserves everything he gets.
