Rozena takes some shopping over to Mushtaq's house. Mushtaq hints she should invite Sameer and his family over for Eid: what better occasion to meet a future son-in-law? He decides he will ask the Akhtars too. Rozena changes the subject and Mushtaq accuses her of being ashamed of her family.
Kuls goes through his dad's case history with the nurse and produces news articles about misdiagnosis - he thinks he gave the wrong translations when he was 10 years old and the doctors misunderstood him. Perhaps under all that medication his dad is perfectly healthy? The nurse gives him some advice - if he intends to take this further making accusations will not help anyone.
Mushtaq phones the Akhtars to invite them for Eid. Khatija says they would rather have a quiet day at home, and besides, Pervaiz isn't well. Mushtaq refuses to take no for an answer. Khatija is annoyed with Mushtaq and tells the family there is no way she is going to his for Eid. Why doesn't he give them what he really owes them? Pervaiz is only sick because he had an accident working for that man! Zak chooses the moment to make an announcement - he's got himself a job, working for Mushtaq Jilani.
Jodie asks Mushtaq if Mani has spoken about her and Mushtaq admits that Mani isn't aware that Mushtaq knows. Jodie takes this to mean Mani sees her as some horrible secret. Mushtaq disagrees and makes a suggestion: Mani will be at the Jilanis for Eid so why doesn't Jodie come over too?
