Simran is showing Jaggy her business plan. She's worked everything out with the bank manager and now all she needs is £30,000 as collateral - Jaggy did say he wanted to support her...Jaggy suddenly starts trying to put Simran off buying the salon, and shows her a newspaper report which says it's a risky time to buy. Simran is sick of Jaggy blowing hot and cold - why does he never support her?
Brian and Rozena are working at the site office - and aren't getting on very well. Rozena winds Brian up and accuses him of slacking and he's relieved when he she has to nip out. Just after she's gone there's a knock at the door - it's Zak, but what does he want?
Later, Zak is at the shop. He's short of cash but Mary lets him off. He tells her he's sick of being skint but things might be changing as Brian's just offered him a labouring job. As Zak's leaving, Jaggy walks in to buy flowers for Simran - Mary reckons she's a lucky girl.
When Rozena gets back to the site Brian announces he's been busy employing a new member of staff. Rozena isn't happy that she's not been consulted and demands that Brian call Zak in for an interview - otherwise she'll have to call Mushtaq...
Jaggy gets home and gives Simran the flowers as an apology. Simran wants to forget about the salon for a bit - she must have been driving him mad talking about it - but Jaggy says there's a present for her in the flowers. It's a piece of paper with her name, his signature, and his bank details on...a cheque! He's supporting her bid 100%.
