Mushtaq thinks it will help Mani if he's kept busy and asks him to stuff some envelopes. Mani isn't impressed at becoming Mushtaq's secretary but does it anyway. He struggles and drops the envelopes and Mushtaq rushes to help - Mani gets upset at needing help yet again. Mushtaq brings Mani some tea for a break - it reminds him of the old days when they lived together and Mani was still playing his music. Mani says life is more complicated now but won't elaborate. He assures Mushtaq he'd say if something was wrong.
Arun sees Zak in the park, who tells him his plans to drop out of college and get a job. Arun is worried about Sean but Zak has no idea where he's been hanging out either - he must be having a tough time.
Meanwhile, Kuljit catches up with Jodie at work. She's glad of a break - the café's still doing well after the warehouse night. Kuls has been worrying about her since she ran out of the hospital but Jodie insists nothing's wrong. Kuljit is planning to take up his dad's case with the medical consultants - he thinks he's been misdiagnosed.
Later, Mushtaq goes to Saffron Ray's and asks Pradeep for a word - he wants to check everything's running properly. He criticises the cleaning then advises Pradeep to add more salt to one of his dishes! Pradeep is extremely insulted - who does Mushtaq think he is?
Back at the park, Zak and Arun discuss Sean: could he really be a suspect for Mani's accident? Arun feels bad because he wasn't there for Sean when he wanted to talk but Zak reassures him - Sean will get in touch when he's ready.
