Roopa is on the phone in her room when Rita walks in annoyed - Roopa's been talking for an hour and her room is a tip. Roopa argues that she has to call her friends because she's grounded but Rita says her room must be tidy by the time she gets back from the shops. But when she gets back Roopa is still chatting. Roopa hangs up the phone but then it rings again. Rita answers it and says Roopa can't talk because she has to clean her room - then she confiscates the phone!
In the kitchen, Kamla is catching up with Jas. Kamla admits that she no longer felt at home in India. So much had changed, even her sisters didn't make her feel welcome, and that's when she realised her home was in Silver Street. She tells Jas about her argument with Imran about the disaster appeal. Jas tries to stick up for him - he's under a lot of pressure and the aid needs to be properly coordinated and targeted. Kamla isn't convinced though: she and Mani ran a successful campaign for the Gujarat earthquake so maybe Imran is just worried her leadership will be more popular than his!
Meanwhile, at Mushtaq's, Mani is struggling to manoeuvre himself in his wheelchair. Mushtaq wants to help but Mani insists he can do it alone. Later though, Mushtaq hears an almighty crash in the bathroom. The door is locked and he can hear water running but Mani doesn't answer his calls...
Mushtaq climbs through the window to get in and finds Mani lying on the floor. Mani is distraught - it's all so undignified. He's grateful for Mushtaq's help but he's embarrassed. He'd rather have a stranger see him like this. OK, says Mushtaq, maybe it's time to get some help...
