Krishan's bored. He's been off school and spent all day in front of the TV and so Kamla isn't sympathetic. She thinks he's afraid to go out because of his eyebrows so she orders him to get up and get dressed - they're going out together.
Auntie Muneera calls Mushtaq to offer more food for Mani and he has to put her off - the freezer is overflowing already. Mani wants to know if Jodie has called. Mushtaq says no but does he want to call her? Mani says he was only curious, that's all.
Kamla takes Krishan to the Centre and asks Imran what activities are going on. She doesn't think karate classes are appropriate at the moment - shouldn't the Centre be organising charity activities for the victims of the Tsunami? When the earthquake hit Gujarat, Mani and she turned the place into a charity headquarters. Imran tries to convince her that the best thing people can do is to make a money donation but Kamla is having none of it. She advises him to listen to her suggestions - otherwise she may take her services elsewhere!
Over in the suburbs, Mushtaq is helping Mani with his exercises. Mani wants to give up and Mushtaq asks him why he's being defeatist. It seems as though Mani is about to tell him about Jodie but then Mary and Sean arrive at the door.
Mary chats to Mani and tells him they had the police around asking about his accident. Sean is quiet but when Mary leaves to make Mani a drink he grabs the opportunity to speak - he needs to know, what is Mani going to do now he knows Sean was the driver?
