Simran is chatting to Jodie at the cafe. She's cheered up now Jaggy's agreed to support her bid for the salon, but she wants to put some cash in herself too. Rozena's also there on the phone to her dad, reassuring him she can cover for him while he's with Mani. Then Sameer rings to say he's back from New York. Rozena's cool towards him and says she can't meet him - she has plans!
Sway's just got back to Silver Street too. He tells Kuls all about his Christmas at home then asks how Jodie is and whether she's been to see Mani. Then his thoughts turn to Nadia and he decides to give her a ring...
Nadia is treating her mum to a manicure when her phone rings. She ignores it but it rings again and she turns it off. She sees it's Sway ringing but tells her mum she didn't recognise the number.
Rozena is just getting into her car when Sameer sneaks up on her. He persuades her to reorganise her schedule to fit him in and then tells her to ignore the twitching curtains and give him a kiss - Kuls and Sway are walking past and can't think what he sees in her!
Kuls and Sway are walking to the salon. Kuls says that Nadia's parents are back and things didn't go well in Mirpur. Sway waves at Nadia through the window but she blanks him and Kuljit realises she's with her mum. They try to walk away naturally while inside, Nadia pretends it was just one of Zak's friends. She tells her mum about her plans for the salon. Khatija's worried she's taking on too much but Nadia is determined: she'll raise the money somehow.
