Roopa is in the lounge watching MTV but Krishan keeps getting in her way. She threatens to get him if he doesn't move and Krishan squeals for their mum. Rita demands to know what's going on and Krishan announces he's preparing for his science show - he's going to make them a shooting star.
Meanwhile, the district nurse visits Mani. She's pleased with how well he's doing - Mushtaq's obviously taking good care of him. The nurse thinks that Mushtaq and Mani are a couple. Mushtaq is outraged and Mani is amused at his overreaction. The nurse is worried that Mushtaq's taken too much on and says she'll try to get some more help. Mushtaq is adamant he can cope but Mani wouldn't mind some extra help - going to bathroom with your friend is a bit embarrassing! Later on Mushtaq bathes Mani. He's still upset about the nurse's comment and Mani tells him he's just an old conservative.
Back at the Chauhan's, Krishan is having a practice run for his show. He burns some magnesium to make a really bright light but manages to set off the smoke alarm in the process - and lose his eyebrows! He should have been a magician, laughs Roopa!
The police call to ask Sean some questions about the car race. Sean says he just went to watch it on his own. He saw the accident, stayed to see Mani was OK, then left. He didn't recognise anybody. The police aren't convinced though - why didn't anyone else see him, and why didn't he help Mani? They think Sean's hiding something, and it's only a matter of time before they find out what...
