Mushtaq and Mani are having lunch in the conservatory. Mushtaq is working from home so he'll be there to help Mani when he needs it. Mani is quiet and Mushtaq tries to get him to talk - he knows he must be thinking of Jodie. He jokes about the amount of food Mani's well-wishers have brought but Mani doesn't cheer up and will only say he's tired after his physio. Later on, Mushtaq hears a crash in the hallway. He rushes out to find Mani struggling with a coat stand he'd knocked over. Mani's frustrated that he can't even move his wheelchair without causing a fuss but Mushtaq says he's around to help.
Pervaiz is still feeling down about his debts. He's ashamed he can't provide for his children and worried about paying Mushtaq back. Khatija says it's Mushtaq that owes them - it was his fault Pervaiz was injured at work. Pervaiz may have forgiven him but she hasn't and it's time Mushtaq was told!
Jaggy stops at the café after his run and asks Jodie if Simran has been talking about him - he knows he's been difficult to live with lately. Now though he's made a resolution to treat her better. Jodie's pleased but thinks Jaggy should be telling Simran not her. Simran stops at the café later too. She tells Jodie that Jaggy's been the model boyfriend lately - he even made her breakfast in bed!
That evening Simran is loading the washing machine when a country club membership card falls out of Jaggy's trousers. Jaggy gets home and has to think on his feet to explain it. He says he thought they deserved a weekend away together and Simran falls for it - hook, line and sinker!
