At the Golden Crown the New Year party is in full swing. Arun takes over on the decks and Simran tries to get Jaggy to dance but he just wants a drink. Mushtaq is worried that the music's too loud for Mani and Arun agrees to cool things down after midnight.
Pradeep is pleased his buffet's going down well (especially with Jaggy!) He tells Rita he's decided that life's too short not to say how you feel and he's going to tell Mani how worried he was for him.
Krishan goes upstairs to look for Sean who's hiding in his room, trying to avoid Mary - he doesn't want to go to the party. Krishan thinks he may be sad after seeing the news of the Tsunami disaster and Sean says in a way he is - it makes him feel even worse for wallowing in self pity. Krishan is collecting money for the disaster appeal and Sean gives him £20. Mary suddenly bangs on Sean's door - she wants him to join everyone downstairs. Sean makes Krishan keep quiet and after a few attempts Mary gives up.
Back downstairs, Arun starts the countdown to midnight. Rita and Pradeep go mad on the dance floor but Jaggy isn't so keen to celebrate with Simran. She forces him to dance and Arun makes fun of him on the mic - Jaggy isn't having a good night.
Jodie arrives late and tracks down Mani in a "quiet" corner. She tells him she's a bit tipsy - she was nervous about coming out. She starts to tell Mani a story of when her mother visited Nepal with her boyfriend...and Mani finds he can finish it for her. Mani realises what it means - Jodie's his daughter - and they hug and cry...
