Pervaiz and Khatija are back in England and making their way through airport customs. Khatija is irritable and Pervaiz's cough is still troubling him. Khaitja is already worried about how they'll repay Mushtaq but Pervaiz tells her they need a rest first and can't be in a bad mood to greet Nadia and Zak.
Mushtaq drives Nadia and Zak to the airport. He advises Zak not to become bitter about the land and says he's impressed with Nadia's business ideas. When Khatija and Pervaiz finally get through customs they are surprised to see Mushtaq - it's one more thing they owe him for. As they load the car Pervaiz tries to talk to Mushtaq about repaying his loan but Mushtaq won't hear of it - it was a friendly loan and they only need repay it when they can.
Meanwhile, Sean goes to see Mani at the hospital. Sean is in tears and Mani asks him what's wrong. He starts to say he has a friend who's in trouble but then he admits that really it's him. Sean can't believe how nice Mani is to him - he's not even family and he doesn't deserve it. Sean admits he was driving the car that knocked him down - he was so scared he didn't even think to stop. Mani is stunned. Sean insists he wanted to do the right thing and tell the police but A.D. threatened to hurt Mary and Pete if he did. Keeping it a secret has been tearing him apart but he thought he was protecting his family. Now he doesn't know what to do. Mani is quiet. He just can't believe it...
