Imran is at the Centre preparing food for the homeless soup kitchen with Auntie Muneera, when Kamla arrives. She wastes no time in testing the food and declaring what's wrong with it and Auntie Muneera goes off upset. Imran assures Kamla they have everything under control - it's early and she should go back to bed. Kamla won't hear of it and Imran calls Jas to tell her they'll have to meet elsewhere.
Simran and Jaggy wake up. Simran's looking forward to a quiet Christmas with just the two of them but Jaggy isn't so enthusiastic. Simran gets defensive - when did he start finding her boring and why's he been so distant and fidgety lately? Jaggy tries to smooth things over - he only got up to make her breakfast and he's looking forward to Christmas - honest!
Back at the Centre, Kamla is still in the way. She wants to help prepare the food for the elderly but ends up insulting Auntie Muneera again. Imran suggests she should be eating the food not making it - which doesn't go down well!
Kuljit calls on Jodie. They're both feeling a bit lonely. She asks about his dad and Kuljit tells her it's a struggle to always stay positive. Jodie offers to go to the hospital with him as he's on his way there anyway. She's impressed by the way Kuljit copes with his dad and talks to him normally. Kul's bought his dad a jumper for Christmas and he puts it on him. Jodie is moved by the scene and blurts out "How do you do it? Always giving and getting nothing?" She grabs her coat and leaves...
