Mary visits Mani and confesses that Sean was at the races. She tells Mani she blames herself especially now that Sean has run away after their fight. Luckily he only went to Brian's and is coming home today.
Rozena tells Mushtaq they are visiting the Liverpool site tomorrow and having their first business meeting on the train. She phones Brian and is told it's inconvenient. Rozena doesn't care - she is not rescheduling and that's final.
Kuljit is visiting his dad. The nurse thinks his dad's illness may be causing Kuls some stress but he denies this. He is coping just fine, besides he has got his friends to talk to. The nurse makes Kuls promise he will tell her if things get tough and he reluctantly agrees.
Rozena phones Brian to tell him about tomorrow but he says it is inconvenient. Rozena says she doesn't care - she is not rescheduling and that is final.
Sean gets home and Mary says she him about watching the race and not taking part. Sean reckons he didn't see anything and Mary says he will need to tell the police that too. The driver may be looking at attempted manslaughter and poor Mani's injuries may have lasting damage.
Meanwhile A.D turns at the hospital. Mani is not in the mood for playing games - what does he want? A.D says it's quite simple really - he wants Mani to know what will happen if he breathes a word of what he knows to the police ...
