Simran is a bit down and tells Jaggy he was right all along, maybe Silver Street isn't the right place for them. Jaggy says they shouldn't let a couple of setbacks get to them and reassures her.
Kuls and Sway are avoiding the café and head to the pub instead. Sway wants to talk to Kuls about his dad. He thinks they should look into his case history more. Kuls isn't sure at first but later agrees.
The police turn up at the pub. They wonder if Sean might have heard anything about the car race. Mary doesn't say Sean is missing and changes the subject. What exactly are they doing about the burglary at Jaggy and Simran's flat? Mary is getting really worried now and rings Pete to find out if he has heard from Sean.
The police make their way to Jaggy and Simran's place. Simran answers the buzzer but Jaggy tells her the downstairs door is faulty and rushes downstairs.
Jaggy confesses there was no burglary. He needed to make it look like a bachelor pad as he was entertaining a guest but Simran mustn't know that. Jaggy is really apologetic so the officers finally agree to keep quiet on condition that Simran get the 'stolen items' back.
After the police leave, Simran takes the opportunity to tell Jaggy she wants to buy the salon. He doesn't object and is even happy to part finance it for her. Simran is delighted but surprised - why the change of heart?
