Mani wakes up in hospital. Mushtaq is at his bedside and he tells Mani he gave everyone a scare. Mani replies it was the only way he could get noticed! Mushtaq tells him that Jodie has been in a real state and blames herself for the accident.
Later, Jodie visits Mani and apologises for calling him on the night of the crash. Mushtaq interrupts them and says he's leaving - he's sure they have plenty to talk about. Jodie wonders what he means. She feels awkward and struggles to talk to Mani. She asks if it's true than people can hear conversations when they're unconscious and goes pale when Mani says yes. Mani sees something is wrong and asks her to talk to him but Jodie says she can't and leaves.
Meanwhile, Mary talks to Pete at the pub. Sean hasn't come out his room all day and she's getting worried. Pete takes over at the bar so she can check on him. Sean isn't in his room and some of his clothes have gone. Mary panics - what if he's run off for good? It would be like history repeating itself. She won't be able to live with herself if he's gone.
Sway and Kuljit make a final check of the warehouse before their gig. Kuls says Jodie's going into town later so nicking the electricity should be easy. They break into the café through a back window (Kuljit gets stuck climbing through!) and switch off the alarm. That's the first step done, now bring on the masses. They can already smell success...
