Nadia and Simran are working at the salon. Nadia talks about the warehouse gig and tries to persuade Simran to go - she needs a night out. Simran agrees - she and Jaggy used to go out to parties and premieres all the time.
Mary tells Brian that Sean's been involved in the car racing and that's where the £100 he lent him must have gone. She wants Brian to get a confession from him - she'll listen outside the door then sort Sean out once he's admitted it. Brian reluctantly agrees to help her.
Brian finds Sean in his room. He catches Sean out by asking him to do some work for him with the new computer package he needed money for. Sean is forced to admit that he used the £100 as a stake on a car race. Immediately Mary barges in and lays into Sean - how could he be so stupid?! She suggests it's time he moved out but Sean shouts back at her - if he's such a waster maybe she's the one to blame. She's a lousy parent - after all didn't his mum run away? Mary slaps him, stunned.
Jaggy stops at the salon to see if Simran is free for coffee. Nadia tells her to ask him about the warehouse gig. Jaggy says there's no way he's going and when Nadia pleads with him he asks Simran if they can talk outside. Simran says they need a night out but Jaggy won't listen. He calls Simran a hypocrite - isn't this gig as illegal as the car races she made such a fuss about? He's decided they're not going and that's it!
