Kuljit and Sway are at the warehouse waiting for the generator. It's an hour late and Kuls is nervous - everything's going to go wrong! Sway tells him it's sorted but then the guy with the generator calls to say it's broken. Kuls can't believe it - there's only one solution, they'll have to run a cable from Jodie's cafe, without telling her.
Pete is at the cafe getting a coffee when Mary calls him and demands he go to her immediately. As he leaves Mushtaq rushes in with some news - Mani's out of danger! Jodie's really relieved and breaks down in tears. Mushtaq stops for a drink and talks about family and the support Rozena has given him - why hasn't Jodie's family come to support her during this time? Jodie says her mum is dead and when Mushtaq asks about her father she says she has to get on.
Kamla is cooking at the Chauhans. She has another argument with Rita about her going to Leicester for Diwali. She can't believe they went to Uncle Rajan's - he's always been so horrible about Jai. Rita sticks up for Uncle Rajan and says Jai really let the kids down not showing up for Navratri. Kamla says Rita's always had it in for Jai. But if only you knew the truth, threatens Rita...
Mary questions Pete about Sean - she wants to know if he's in trouble. Pete tries to lie and say everything's fine but Mary sees through him. Pete admits Sean was involved in the car racing and Mary is outraged - he's going to be sorry...
