Zak finds Sean alone by the canal. Sean admits he's feeling bad about Mani - it might as well have been him driving the car considering how he feels. Zak says he'll feel better if he goes to see Mani at the hospital.
Sway goes with Kuljit to visit his dad. Kuljit is nervous but glad Sway is with him. He tries to talk to his dad but soon gives up and says they may as well leave. Sway tells him he's got to keep trying - he'll think of a way to get through. Sway leaves the room and Kuljit talks to his dad about Diwali. Then he tells him the story of Guru Hargobind like his dad used to do to him every year. Sway returns and just then Kuljit's dad looks up. Kuljit is ecstatic - his dad just looked at him!
Jas calls Imran and invites him over to celebrate his birthday - she thinks he needs some TLC after all the worry over Mani. He agrees and then Rozena comes in to give him his present. She wants to take him for dinner to make up for how she's been acting lately but Imran says he already has plans though he appreciates the offer.
Later, at the Chauhan's, Imran and Jas catch up - it's a while since they've seen each other. They start to kiss and Jas asks him upstairs. On their way up, Imran's mobile rings in the kitchen. They leave it and Imran carries Jas the rest of the way up the stairs...
