Mushtaq and Imran are at the hospital. Mani is unconscious and in intensive care. Imran tells a shocked Mushtaq the extent of Mani's injuries. They want an update but Jodie has had very little news. She tells Mushtaq how awful it was seeing the crash with her own eyes. Mushtaq feels helpless and starts crying and later prays at Mani's bedside.
Krishan is baking a Diwali cake for Mani. He doesn't realise how ill Mani is and cheerfully informs Jas he will take it to the hospital. Later Jodie turns up to ask Pradeep about Diwali so she can arrange something for Mani. Krishan tells her about the cake and she suggests they plan something together - they will make this year really special for Mani.
Imran goes back to work and Jas comes in. He tells her how awful it was seeing Mushtaq cry and how he has so much on his own plate at the moment with things going wrong at the leisure centre. Jas assures Imran that she is there for him and he doesn't have to cope with everything on his own.
Kuls and Sway are trying to phone Jodie. They know she witnessed the whole thing and are worried about her. They later catch up with her and she is in a terrible state. The boys try to calm her down but it's no good. Jodie reckons if she hadn't called Mani about the race going on none of this would have happened - it's all her fault.
