Mani is chatting to Pradeep at the bonfire night and gets a call from Jodie telling him the car races are about to start. Mani tells her to stay in the cafe and he will be right over, he is sure to recognise someone there and then the police can deal with it. Zak is also at the bonfire and asks Roopa if she has seen Sean anywhere. She hasn't - maybe Sean has dumped him for a new friend?
Sean is actually outside the cafe with A.D., preparing for the race. A.D. is worried that he might damage the car again but Sean says he's learnt his lesson from last time. A.D. says he had better not think about talking to Mani again either.
Jaggy and Tina share a takeaway and things start hotting up between them, but Tina wants him to be clear on some things first. She isn't prepared to be his flowers and chocolates girl - she is a woman and wants to be taken seriously. Jaggy says that isn't going to be a problem and Tina asks him to prove it.
Mani arrives at the cafe and Jodie tells him she called the police a couple of times but no-one's arrived yet. Mani's had enough; he decides to confront A.D and Jodie tries to stop him. He goes over but A.D. tells him to get lost and then Mani spots Sean. Suddenly there is the sound of screeching tyres and Jodie cries out...
