It's the day of Jodie's meeting to discuss the illegal car races, but the residents prove difficult to control as they want to talk about other things affecting them too! Pradeep wants to talk about the allotments, Jaggy wants to talk about rubbish in the canal, and Mushtaq's business plans are a point of contention too.
Imran is asked if the Centre can help out but he says funding is being cut and suggests the residents volunteer their skills to keep youngsters occupied instead. Perhaps Jaggy could do some football training sessions? They turn to ask him but Jaggy has disappeared.
Simran runs after Jaggy who says he's had enough of this 'do-gooders' meeting. Simran has had enough of him! She's sick of Jaggy feeling sorry for himself - what about her feelings? Jaggy storms off for the second time that night leaving Simran shouting after him.
Back at the cafe, Mani compliments Jodie on organising the meeting and she says she couldn't have done it without him. Mani says he will deal with things from now on - he worries about her living on the barge by herself. He gives her his contact numbers and says to ring whenever she needs him.
Back at work, Simran is rude to a customer and Nadia is shocked. Simran announces the salon is being sold - she wants it but Jaggy wants to leave Silver Street and she can't afford it without his help. Nadia offers to be a partner but Simran dismisses the idea. Nadia reckons she should speak to Jaggy before getting fancy ideas...
