It's Arun's birthday but his family are pretending they've forgotten - which leads to Arun storming out of the house. Krishan and Rita agree it's just a bit of fun and Rita tells him to get moving, they have a birthday cake to bake and she needs some help.

Jaggy wakes up in a strange bed - he can't remember the woman he's with and is appalled. She winds him up and then admits nothing happened - they just got drunk and crashed. Jaggy laughs along and is further won over when she tells him she's cooked parathas for breakfast...Simran never lets him have them!

Arun tries to ring Uncle Jai but gets the answer machine. He wants to know if Jai is still popping round for his birthday. Arun says he knows his Uncle won't let him down - not like the rest of his hypocritical family. Later, at home, Kamla phones too and he tells her this is his worst birthday ever.

Jaggy turns up late for football training. Trevor demands an explanation and the situation isn't helped when Jaggy gives him attitude and teases another of the players. Trevor's had enough and he Jaggy to go: by the time he's finished Jaggy is going to be really sorry.

Jaggy returns home to a worried Simran who wants to know where he's been all night. She accuses him of spending the night with another woman and they end up having another huge row. Jaggy screams at her to leave him alone.
