Jas wakes with a really sore head after partying away the night before. Pradeep doesn't realise it is a hangover and starts fussing over her, thinking she is ill. Jas tells him to quit hassling her: what does he know about going to Uni anyway?
Brian goes to the boxing gym to see Pete. They talk about the tension in the family and Pete says they really need to sort things out. Pete reckons a meal on Brian's birthday is just what they need to get everyone back to playing happy families again.
Councillor Malik and Mani get together for lunch. Mani wants to talk to her about the accident blackspot in Silver Street and she agrees to look into it before she moves from the Transport department. They realise they have a lot in common and Kuljit jokes about them going out on a date -it doesn't go down too well!
Later, Pete chats to Mary in the pub and tells her about his visit from Brian and his idea about a birthday meal. The only problem is that Brian needs to be in Liverpool that day. It's not a problem, says Mary, they can do it tonight instead. It's time for everyone to forgive and forget...
