Nadia is annoyed with Zak for staying out late and is sure it's something to do with car racing. Zak is saved by the bell though when their mum calls from Pakistan . She tells them that Mushtaq's contacts are proving useful but it will still take time to sort things out.
Sean is at the newsagents getting lunch for college. Mary jokes about how much he is planning to eat but Sean is still annoyed with her and says she cares more about the likes of Birdyman than she does about him.
Later on Pradeep pops in and tells Mary he is worried about Rita. She seems to be trying to relive her youth to make up for what happened with her brother all those years ago. Pradeep isn't sure she even sees him as part of her future anymore.
Jas bumps into Imran and tells him she's nervous about Freshers Week. Imran thinks it will be fun for her to meet all those new people. The conversation turns to their relationship and Imran says they shouldn't hide their feelings - it's good to talk. Jas jokes about doing more than talking and for once Imran doesn't get uncomfortable.
Zak goes to meet Sean and soon gets a call from Nadia who continues her earlier lecture, saying he had better sort himself out as she's not in the mood for games. The boys decide on a plan: they will go to college for a couple of hours and then go to check out that car...
