Sameer and Rozena are relaxing at home. Rozena's impressed: she got home to find Sameer waiting for her and the dinner prepared - she never thought he'd be such a good cook! It's all very romantic, but they're interrupted by a phone call from Mushtaq. Rozena's annoyed because he asks her to keep an eye on the house but doesn't even mention the business. Then Jas and Imran walk in. Jas obviously wants to talk to Imran alone, but he's more interested in getting something to eat!
Meanwhile, Pradeep gets home from work. Rita teases him about his uniform for Chunky's but he's not in the mood. Rita's worried because Jas isn't back yet, but when Jas calls home later Rita acts cool and tells her to have a nice time. Pradeep can't sleep and as it turns midnight Rita sings Happy Birthday to him. She has a birthday surprise for him too - tickets to see India v Pakistan at Edgbaston.
Back at the Jilanis, Imran helps Sameer wash up. He starts to take the rubbish out and discovers Sameer isn't an amazing chef after all - he just cooked some M&S ready meals! They laugh about it and Imran promises not to tell Rozena. In the living room, Rozena quizzes Jas about Imran but Jas says nothing's going on.
Later, Sameer tells Rozena he's going to New York for a week and is pleased when she looks like she'll miss him. Imran walks Jas home and she finally gets to talk to him alone. She says she'd like to take things further but doesn't know how he feels - she wants to know where she stands!
