Rita phones a call centre to enquire about a part-time vacancy and is told they prefer to recruit graduates who can handle working in a fast and demanding environment. She is advised that her maternal and domestic skills may not be the right kind of experience and so she finally decides to sign up for the interpreting course instead.
Brian is avoiding Rozena's calls and trying to keep things peaceful at the Liverpool site. The manager informs him that Rozena was there snooping around a few days earlier but Brian isn't worried - he reckons he has her eating out of the palm of his hand and that Mushtaq's money will salvage the situation.
Later Rita needs a good moan and goes round to see Rozena, who tells her she has a lot going for her and not to be so hard on herself. They agree to meet for lunch the next day and Rita leaves. Rozena tries ringing Brian and gets the answering machine yet again.
Sean and Arun meet Zak at the street races and are more impressed with the scantily clad ladies than they are with his car. Arun has told the boys that he has lots of experience and is nominated as Zak's driving partner. The race starts but, much to their horror, Zak's car doesn't!
Rozena finally manages to track Brian down at the pub. She tells him that she knows everything and she's had enough: either he sorts out this mess with the workers or there will be no more cheques...
