It's Zak's 18th birthday and Sean turns up to see him. Zak tells him he feels really bad about the argument with Pervaiz but Sean says to stop moping - they've got a birthday party to plan. Nadia thinks it is a bad idea but agrees on the condition that if anything goes wrong it is nothing to do with her.
Mani wants to run some music ideas by Kuljit who says he is too busy to talk. Kuljit later tells Sway he wants to concentrate on younger talent, but Sway reminds him that they live in Mani's flat and a bad move with him could put them on the streets again.
Later, at the party, Sway tells Nadia that he really likes her and when he wants something he is willing to wait for it. They are interrupted by Kuls, and Sway tells him to go away - he's ruining the moment. Kuljit then bumps into Roopa who asks if he will be her manager and breaks into song. She gets upset when Kuls tells her to stop and runs out of the room. She thinks he hates it.
The party is in full swing when Nadia spots Gary and Saj outside. Zak tells her not to worry; Kuls and Sway will sort them out if they try anything. Later Sway and Nadia go outside and tell Gary and Saj to go away or else. Suddenly there is the sound of glass shattering and the music stops. Someone has thrown a brick through the window...
