It is Raksha Bandhan and Krishan and Arun don't want to go down the traditional road of giving their sisters money in exchange for the thread symbolising the affectionate bond between brother and sister. Arun spent his money on a new tune and Krishan bought sweets. Pradeep pays the girls instead but not before dishing out punishment to Arun and Krishan - they will have to help him carry vegetables back from the allotment.
Rita is missing her brothers because it is Raksha Bandhan and they haven't even called her. Pradeep catches her crying and tries to comfort her but she refuses to let him near. Krishan also hears her and says he has a surprise planned that will cheer her up.
Jaggy has a chat with Trevor his manager, who tells him to stop flirting with his female fans and concentrate on his relationship with Simran. Perhaps he should consider getting married and having a family, says Trevor - a stable home-life makes for a stable player.
Later, Imran turns up to the Chauhans to arrange a date with Jas and is invited in by her mum. Jas is left completely embarrassed when an unsuspecting Rita reminds Imran that he used to push her pram around when she was little. Things go from bad to worse when Rita insists that Jas put a nice gold Rakrhi on Imran's wrist and tells him he must now be a protective loving brother to her. Jas is forced to give her 'big brother' a hug...
