The Chauhan's gather round Jas as she opens her results - it's two Cs and a D. Rita and Pradeep are delighted but Jas isn't so enthusiastic - she'd hoped to move away but these results mean she'll have to go to the local uni. Rita and Pradeep go into the kitchen to finish preparing a celebration lunch. Rita says she's not going to tell the kids about her job yet - she doesn't want to spoil Jas's day. When Rita comes across a pan she borrowed from Rozena, Jas offers to take it back - she just wants to get out of the house.
Jas talks to Imran about her disappointment. He makes her look on the positive side - it's a good local university and she can see the world once she's got her degree. Jas cheers up and Imran adds that at least they'll still be able to see each other now. Jas takes it the wrong way and accuses Imran of being possessive - he's not been thinking of her best interests at all - he just wants to keep an eye on her like her parents! She storms home, saying she'll find a way to leave Silver Street somehow.
Later Imran confides in Rozena that he feels more serious about Jas than he has about anyone in the past
