Roopa and Krishan come face to face with Birdyman and run away though he shouts that he didn't mean to scare them. Later at the park, Krishan tells Roopa he feels sorry for Birdyman and thinks he is hurt, they should go back to see if he is OK. Roopa doesn't want to and they end up bickering.
Rita and Rozena have a catch up and Rozena fills her in on how things are with Sameer and shows Rita his company website. Rita asks her to look up the college where she intends to complete her interpreting course whilst she is on the net anyway, it's a new start for her and she needs a job.
Mushtaq goes to Saffron Rays to wish Mani a happy birthday but he is out. He decides to wait and Councillor Malik turns up because she wants to discuss a local black spot that Mani had complained about. Mushtaq tells he was almost run over there recently and invites her to have some tea with him.
Pervaiz tells Nadia he is off to Pakistan to clear up the misunderstanding about the land. He wants Nadia and Zak to look after each other whilst their parents are away and not worry about things. Nadia later discusses the situation with Zak and says Pervaiz has asked Mushtaq for help. Zak thinks he can't be trusted and isn't too sure about asking Imran to help either. Zak wants to go to Pakistan himself to sort things out….dad is too soft. Zak wants to sort it out his way.
