Kuljit is promoting Saffron Rays by offering customers a discount and asking them to mention his name. He thinks this will earn him brownie points but it backfires when someone complains about her bill. Pradeep demands a meeting between Mani, himself and 'this joker'.
It all heats up in the kitchen when Kuljit explains to Mani who agrees that it is a good idea except 20% might be too much. Pradeep is annoyed that Kuljit thinks he can make decisions without authority and is angered further when Kuljit suggests he has no business sense and should stick to cooking. Pradeep can't believe that he has been working here for 10 years with no raise yet Kuljit gets away with his birdbrain ideas without discussing them with anyone.
Meanwhile it's dinnertime at the Chauhans and Rita has cooked pizza. Krishan jokes about the last one being used as a doorstop. Rita asks Roopa and Krishan to get Arun from the gym and on the way they decide to visit Mary at the pub to find out more about Birdyman. Mary tells them Birdyman lives in a shed at the allotments but they should keep that secret because the man has been badly treated and deserves to be left in peace.
Later whilst Rita and Pradeep are discussing what happened at the restaurant, Roopa and Krishan decide to sneak off to the shed to spy on Birdyman. They see Sean buying something from someone and change their minds when that person shouts at them……Birdyman will have to wait.
