Rita is horrified to find that she is now redundant. She shares a sympathetic moment with her boss before leaving and makes her way to Saffron Ray's to tell Pradeep she has lost her job Pradeep is worried about how they will manage now but Rita is determined that this won’t beat them.
Rozena is still convinced that Brian is up to no good and Imran is horrified when he finds out she took Brian’s phone. He tells her to stop meddling and return it but Rozena makes a call to Brian’s foreman posing as his secretary. He tells her there is trouble brewing on the site…..the men refuse to work on Mickey Mouse projects like this one.
Rita talks to Mani about a pay rise for Pradeep. Mani refuses but later slips to Pradeep about Rita’s visit saying he will give him a rise once business picks up. Pradeep wants Mani to give the restaurant a facelift – how else will they attract more customers?
Rozena turns up at Mushtaq’s Office with the intention of putting Brian’s phone back but doesn’t get the chance. She tells Imran what the foreman said and he says they need to warn Mushtaq but Rozena wants to more proof first and this happens when she takes another call on Brian’s mobile. It is a site builder who confirms her suspicions about Brian and tells her to inform Mushtaq that the men haven’t been paid for six weeks and are working with dodgy materials. If Brian doesn’t sort it soon the whole operation is off….Rozena was right all along…..
