Arun is having a lesson at the boxing gym and Sean ridicules him at first. Pete, the coach (and Sean's uncle), tells them both to stop fooling around and to take it more seriously. He tells a delighted Arun that he will train him over the summer so long as he shows commitment. Arun tells Sean that he needs to box so people will know he can stand up for himself.
They later bump into Kuljit and Sway who compliment Arun on the music set he did at the Mela, and Sean comments that it is Arun's day today. Later, at the restaurant, Kuljit also tells Pradeep that he thinks Arun has talent.
Mani congratulates Pradeep on winning the curry competition. Pradeep seizes the opportunity to ask for a pay rise but is quickly fobbed off by Mani talking about his Mela plans for the following year. This puts Pradeep in a bad mood for the rest of the day but he accepts Kuljit's apology about what happened at the Mela and agrees to put the past behind them.
Later, Arun appeals to Rita for money to pay for the boxing lessons but she says no. Rita is annoyed when Pradeep undermines her and says he will cough up the money. She admits that she is more stressed because of her job but an angry Pradeep tells her to sort herself out…….how can she lecture him about setting an example to the kids when she behaves like a teenager at work?
