Nadia tells Jas she is worried about her job and Jas confesses she got off with Imran but swears her to secrecy because she doesn't want Rita to know. Nadia gets to work to find Simran isn't interested in her excuses for being late. She thinks Simran wants to sack her and begs her not to. Simran is just annoyed about the Mela incident but acknowledges Nadia is ambitious and innovative; she just needs Nadia to work with her instead of against her.
Imran finds Rozena on her laptop going through some old disks of Mushtaq's. She tells him that Mushtaq and Brian had earlier planned to buy the allotments site and she can't understand why they aren't doing that anymore. Imran points out that it would be a PR disaster for Mushtaq, and tells her she should stay out of 'dad's stuff'.
Jas and Imran discuss their 'relationship' and Imran seems reluctant to get in too deeply too soon. Jas points out she just wants them to spend a bit more time together but Imran still seems worried.
Rita isn't meeting her targets at work and it doesn't help when Michael, a colleague, boasts about how well he is doing. He later gets awarded the gold star for meeting hourly quotas, and Rita's boss asks her for a private word in his office. She is in trouble again and the boss isn't interested in her personal problems - Rita has a week to sort herself out or that's it…….
