The day of the Silver Street mela has finally dawned, and Imran is giving his crew one last pep talk. Jas listens to him with Kuls and Sway, and tells them it was actually Mani who first started the mela. Imran asks Jas to make a final check of the park with him, and Jas fishes to see if he’s been thinking about her. Just as he’s about to open up to her his phone rings - Jaggy hasn’t arrived yet and Imran asks Jas to sort it out. They meet again later and Jas fishes for compliments again. Imran seems quite put out when he thinks Jas says Jaggy is a heart throb!
Elsewhere, Mani chats to Kuls and Sway at the restaurant stall. He says their interest in his music has made him think about his past, and he admits to them he used to be a bit of a womaniser. He says he really didn’t deserve his wife.
Brian and Mushtaq have arrived early too – they want to show the locals that they care about the community. Brian has arranged for his media contacts to photograph them and their logo is everywhere. Imran thanks his dad for the money he donated but then Jas runs up with bad news – the celebrity chef can’t make it - he’s got food poisoning! Mushtaq offers to compere instead and Imran agrees, but when he’s gone Imran shouts at Jas for putting him in an awkward position. Jas tells Imran he’s acting like Mushtaq – like father like son, just as he feared!
