Pradeep is getting ready to go to work and he's in a bad mood again. He's sick of working with Kuljit and Sway and sick of Mani taking him for granted, but Rita tells him not to get too het up - it's a good job and with rumours of redundancies at the call centre he can't afford to lose it.
Later, Rita tries again to persuade Arun to see the police. Arun can't believe it and storms off - it's like talking to a brick wall, his parents just won't listen! He goes to see Sean at the boxing gym and bumps into Imran, who says boxing helps him clear his head. Arun says he's thinking of taking it up too.
Mani is visiting Mary at the pub. Mary tells him she keeps having to field phone calls for Brian, and that she's worried the development isn't going too well. Mani admits he thinks the same - what exactly has Mushtaq got himself mixed up with?
After her argument with Arun, Rita feels like a chat and asks Rozena round. Rozena's relieved when Rita starts talking about Arun, not Jas, and reassures her he'll turn out fine - they just need to let him make his own mistakes. Rita's still worried he'll go off the rails like her brother though, and later on blames Pradeep for letting the same nightmare happen to her all over again. She goes to bed, telling Pradeep he can sleep on the couch.
