Imran gets some bad news about funding the Mela and tries to phone Jas. Later, Rita is trying to talk to Jas about Arun but Jas picks up the message form Imran and leaves saying he needs her more. She goes to the leisure centre to find Imran in a state of panic. They discuss ways of getting funding and Jas suggests Mushtaq. Imran phones Mushtaq who agrees commenting to Mani that it makes him feel wanted when Imran asks for help. Imran is relieved and talks to Jas about his relationship with Mushtaq, she in turn talks about things at home and he offers to buy her a drink to say thanks for all her help with the Mela.
Mushtaq and Mani discuss the property development over a cup of tea at Mushtaq's new house and Mani tells Mushtaq to be careful about Brian asking for more money, he could lose him a small fortune. Mushtaq tells Mani that he is thinking of getting a housekeeper and Mani thinks it is because he is lonely.
Rita goes to the police station to tell them she knows who burgled the house. Arun can't believe she did that and tells her there will be severe repercussions for all of them now. Later the police turn up wanting to speak to Arun who refuses to co-operate and contradicts everything Rita had reported. The police say Gary and Sajid claim Arun vandalised their car and that they can get proof but Arun still denies it.
