Imran spots Jaggy running through the park and calls out to him to wait up. He wants Jaggy to do a turn at the Mela, and does his best to persuade him, saying it'll help him get local support, but Jaggy avoids committing to anything - at least for now.
Rita has left work early to go shopping for her dinner party. Jas and Pradeep are helping too, and they discuss the party they've planned for Jas tomorrow - to celebrate her 18th and the end of her exams. Jas isn't sure too she'll have anything to celebrate when she gets her results.
Simran pops home for lunch and finds Jaggy in their apartment. She tells him she's really getting sick of Nadia at the salon. "Which one is Nadia?" he asks, "the cute one with the great figure?" Simran isn't pleased, and Jaggy tries to make it up to her later, taking her some flowers at work.
That evening, Rozena and Imran go to Rita's for dinner. Rita's in her element, but Pradeep is uncomfortable, and gets annoyed with her for constantly stealing his thunder. Imran goes outside to phone Mushtaq, who's been trying to ring him all night. Mushtaq says he wants to give more money to the Mela - it might help him get the community on side. Imran isn't impressed though - he wants to do things properly. So it's thanks but no thanks….
