It's morning at the café, and Jodie is struggling to work the new cappuccino machine. Kuljit and Sway try to convince her everything will be ok, as she frets about whether the café will be a success - aren't most of the people around Silver Street happy just with their chai and chaat? The boys are heading out to the bank and Jodie gives them a load of flyers to hand out for the opening night.
At the Chauhan's, Kamla's impending departure is still making waves. Rita argues with Pradeep about all the work she has to do and ends up breaking down - she finally admits how upset she is about her mum leaving.
At his bedsit, Imran gets two unexpected visitors. Mr Das, the landlord, comes to remind him it might be an idea to pay his rent, considering that his lease is up for renewal soon and that he's not exactly the ideal tenant. And then Rozena arrives, and takes the opportunity to nag her brother about moving in again.
Kuljit and Sway bump into Arun and manage to offload the flyers onto him - although Arun negotiates a £30 fee for his trouble! They get to a cashpoint and are relieved to find Sway's mum has bailed them out - so now they can get the van back at least. Arun is handing out the flyers, when a group of lads start picking on him, and let slip that they're the burglars who hurt Kamla. Arun tries to stand up to them - and ends up with a punch in the face for his trouble…
