Kuljit and Sway are being interviewed at the police station about the Chauhan burglary. The police aren't convinced by Kuljit and Sway's reasons for being in the area, and decide to keep them in for the night. Then Kuljit remembers he was interviewed by a TV crew on the day of the demolition - if the crew still have the tape it could put them in the clear.
Next morning, Mushtaq is packing for his move to the new house, and Rozena feels a bit put out that he's so keen to leave. Imran calls Rozena on her mobile and asks her to meet him outside - he doesn't want his Dad knowing his business. They talk about Mushtaq's "present", and Imran says he won't live in that house again. He tells Rozena about the police taking Kuljit and Sway to the station the night before. He's worried because he didn't have them police checked before he gave them the work, and if anyone found out he'd be in serious trouble.
Rita walks past and stops to chat. Rozena admits to her that she doesn't want to live on her own, that her biological clock is ticking, and that her job isn't all it's cracked up to be! Rita isn't happy either. She gets upset when she talks about Kamla's plan to leave, and hopes the arrests will put Kamla's mind at rest about the burglary - if only the police would throw the book at those criminals!
