After the demolition, Kuljit and Sway head back to their van. Sway can't believe that Kuljit talked to a TV crew - as far as he's concerned it's just advertising where they are to Deano. Sway doesn't want to stick around Silver Street any longer, but then they discover the van won't start. They push the van through the streets on the look-out for some petrol, and come across an abandoned warehouse where they decide to spend the night. Kuljit thinks the place has potential, but Sway says they're leaving - first thing tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the Chauhan family return home from the demolition and see the front door is open. They rush in and find Kamla dazed and on the floor after her run-in with the burglars - they call an ambulance and inform the police straight away. Later, at the hospital, Rita asks Kamla if she can remember what the burglars looked like, but Kamla just gets annoyed with her fussing - she thinks she's ok.

At Mani's restaurant, Brian and Mushtaq are raising a toast to their business plans and to Mushtaq's birthday. They look at the plans for the development, and Rozena and Imran - Mushtaq's children -join them. A protester against the development tries to force her way into the restaurant, and although Mushtaq is unconcerned by the opposition Imran seems to think they've got a point.

Don't get me wrong it is a brilliant idea and finally Asian people are getting somewhere, but I found the script and characters unrealistic. I know from being a young british Asian that I couldn't relate to any of the characters. Where are the issues, or introduction of the issues that affect us? Finally we've got the chance to show the world what being an Asian is really about please lets not waste this opportunity to show that we're more than arranged marriages and corner shops. I would like to se more characters that are not necessarily the "norm" for example characters with disabilities or who don't quite fit in!

Enjoyed today's episode. After the introduction yesterday found it much easier to follow. Sounds like there's going to be some good arguments over the development. And I hope Kuljit and Sway don't go!

This episode was billiant, billiant absolutely fab. Even though it is only the second one, i think even drilla & mehsopudi would be well chuffed

Rishi from Leicester
Yeah, liked it. But agree I want to hear more issues. Keep the older characters too though. Mani is quite cool, he made me laugh.

Sarika, Birmingham
Good stuff, can we see some strong storylines for younger characters later on? Real issues that affect teenagers today but often get swept under the carpet.
