What's it all about?
The once beautiful allotments have now become a building site. Property developer 'Trucon' took over the allotments at the start of 2006, despite fierce opposition from local residents, and they're busy turning their plans for an extensive housing estate into reality.
Brian Kavanagh is the public face of Trucon and as such has faced a lot of hostility from locals. But what the residents don't know is that it was Rozena Jilani - not Brian - who first came up with the plan to take over the site. She was forced to pull out of the deal at the very last minute but would love to get back on board...if only she could find a way of doing it secretly...

The Trucon workers caused a power cut when they cut through a cable on the allotment site, and the Golden Crown regulars were unable to watch the footy on the big screen.
