 | | | | | | | Darren LesterPlayed by Samuel KindredDOB 10th June 1983: FAMILY: Mother - Sandra Lester Father - Kenny Lester LIVES: With his mum and dad near SilverhillWORK: Was a Professional Footballer for United, a League One Team, now plays for Silverhill RangersCHARACTER: Casanova - He fancies himself as a ladies man and is quite a male-chauvinist. He uses his lifestyle and career to help him get easy women. 'Jack the lad' - A geezer-boy, enjoys being with his team mates. Has a bit of money and enjoys spending itSTAR SIGN: Gemini: Dad only ever wanted me to be a professional footballer, it was training every night, every weekend when I was a kid, but he came to all my matches and was always my biggest supporter. And it paid off, I mean not every kid with a bit of talent gets into the Premiership. I really enjoyed the life - the girls, the cars, the booze, maybe a few Es, nothing heavy though.
My best mate at United was Jaggy Singh until he got dropped after his injury. He stayed with me for a while then, after I split with Kelly. My dad even tried to get him a job we were that close. That's why I can't believe they said I was a racist when I had a little scuffle with that guy Kamal. I mean, I was off my face, I didn't even know what colour he was at the time! Makes no difference though, you get labelled a racist thug and bang ... you're inside, and when you're a good looking lad like me, let me tell you prison life ain't an easy ride...
I'm sure Dad only got involved with Silverhill Rangers for my sake so I'd have something to come out to. I was reluctant at first but then who else was going to give me a job after serving time in prison? So I decided to go with it and see what happens. | |
