Dad only ever wanted me to be a professional footballer, it was training every night, every weekend when I was a kid, but he came to all my matches and was always my biggest supporter. And it paid off, I mean not every kid with a bit of talent gets into the Premiership. I really enjoyed the life - the girls, the cars, the booze, maybe a few Es, nothing heavy though.

My best mate at United was Jaggy Singh until he got dropped after his injury. He stayed with me for a while then, after I split with Kelly. My dad even tried to get him a job we were that close. That's why I can't believe they said I was a racist when I had a little scuffle with that guy Kamal. I mean, I was off my face, I didn't even know what colour he was at the time!
