Listen to The Way of The Nak at BBC Manchester

Kami K started DJ-ing with English music before experimenting with his Dad's bhangra and hindi collection. He relelased his debut album The Way of the Nak in 2002, re-mixing A.S Kang's 'Boliyan' to instant success. With a great video to match, 'Boliyan' ripped through the club and party dance floors helping the album earn its status as one of the best of 2002.

Kami then featured on the albums Urban Explosion and Urban Fusion and produced four tracks on NRG's well known Pure NRG. With the help of Killa Kut, Kami released his mix CD, Lesson 1 in early summer 2004. The album represented the first of its kind in the Asian music industry, recorded as a continuous mix.

Kami is due to release an EP with the full version of tracks Model Chik and Melche as well as three new tracks. He is involved in a Bollywood remix project, producing cover versions of tracks from the 50s through to the 80s and is also working with Pashon, a Jordanian RnB singer on the track 'Aim So High'.
