My Name is Barbra Liscious I am a 26 year old South Asian Drag queen haling from the foothills of Bradistan aka Bradford.

Being British and Asian in the 21st century to me means very lucky, even though I cannot be myself most of the time due to my background as a transvestite, I try to live up to my expectations by performing at weddings and gay venues. This is the only time I can be myself and don’t face many prejudices.

If only Asian people were more accepted of me, would I be able to be free from the problems faced by many people who are gay, lesbian and bi-sexual and living in the UK.

It is time for people to wake up and realise that there are people in the community that are either Gay, Lesbian or bi-sexual.
