I have the name Khan – Not Muslim

This is interesting in the current climate of ‘terrorism’ how a name can carry such weight….. Negative as in the name Khan has the connotations of terrorism and so on and so forth….but people often don’t really know where I’m from….so it confuses them….thats always funny

I’m not british asian….i’m British….my dad and mum were both born in London and have been brought up in the british way….my granddad didn’t want his children to be muslim…and believed when in rome do as the romans do….

I could talk for a long time on this topic……..but just thought I’d give u a snapshot of my situation…..as a white asian british catholic young male with the name Khan…
